چکیده
Near-infrared light-emitting diodes based on solution-processed semiconductors, such as organics, halide perovskites and colloidal quantum dots, have emerged a viable technological platform for biomedical applications, night vision, surveillance optical communications. The recently gained increased understanding of the relationship between materials structure photophysical properties has enabled design efficient emitters leading to devices with external efficiencies exceeding 20%. Despite considerable strides made, challenges remain in achieving high radiance, reducing efficiency roll-off extending operating lifetime. This Review summarizes recent advances emissive synthetic methods device key attributes that collectively contribute improved performance fabricated devices. A summary near-infrared are by means, coverage organic dots.

Organic light-emitting diodes on solution-processed graphene transparent electrodes.
Theoretical estimates indicate that graphene thin films can be used as transparent electrodes for thin-film devices such as solar cells and organic light-emitting diodes, with an unmatched combination of sheet resistance and transparency. We demonstrate organic light-emitting diodes with solution-processed graphene thin film transparent conductive anodes. The graphene electrodes were deposited ...
متن کاملEffect of near-infrared light-emitting diodes on nerve regeneration.
BACKGROUND Photobiomodulation by red to near-infrared light-emitting diodes (LEDs) has been reported to accelerate wound healing, attenuate degeneration of an injured optic nerve, and promote tissue growth. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of LEDs on nerve regeneration. A histological study as well as a measurement of antioxidation levels in the nerve regeneration chamber...
متن کاملA Solution Processed Flexible Nanocomposite Electrode with Efficient Light Extraction for Organic Light Emitting Diodes
Highly efficient organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on multiple layers of vapor evaporated small molecules, indium tin oxide transparent electrode, and glass substrate have been extensively investigated and are being commercialized. The light extraction from the exciton radiative decay is limited to less than 30% due to plasmonic quenching on the metallic cathode and the waveguide in t...
متن کاملMulti-layer organic light-emitting diodes processed from solution using phosphorescent dendrimers in a polymer host
A uniform dispersion of highly soluble phosphorescent dendrimer emitters is achieved by blending with a polymer host poly(9-vinylcarbazole) (PVK) containing N,N0-diphenyl-N, N0-(bis(3-methylphenyl)-[1,1-biphenyl]-4,40-diamine (TPD) and 2-(4-biphen-40-yl)-5-(4tert-butylphenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole (PBD). No visible aggregation or self-quenching was observed for guest-to-host weight ratios of up to 3...
متن کاملSolution processed tungsten oxide interfacial layer for efficient hole-injection in quantum dot light-emitting diodes.
A highly efficient and stable QLED using an inorganic WO3 nanoparticle film as a hole injection layer is demonstrated. The resulting WO3 nanoparticle-based QLEDs also exhibit superior performance compared to that of the present PEDOT:PSS-based QLEDs. The results indicate that WO3 nanoparticles are promising solution-processed buffer layer materials and serve as a strong candidate for QLED techno...
